Choice of Medigap Policy
Choosing
between Plans B, C and F is done following the client's evaluation of
C’s and F’s added
benefits. And they are as
follows:
1.
Skilled nursing facility co-payment, if doctor prescribes you be sent to such a
facility. If, instead, doctor
directs you be sent home, Medicare covers home care without
co-payment. (Plans C and F)
2.
Foreign travel emergency insurance or you can purchase your own insurance for a trip outside
the U. S. (Plans C and F)
3.
Part B Deductible of $135 can be considered a pro-rata return of $11.25 per month,
representing a partial refund of the increase in premium you’re
paying for Plan C and F.
4.
The choice of 100% of Part B Excess Charges Benefit will depend on
whether most of your doctors are non-participatory. (Plan F)
